Just wanted to give you an update on Eli's Baby Brother. We had our level 2 sonogram today and discovered that Baby Brother has a heart defect as well as some other issues with his stomach and other organs. Basically, the stomach is on the wrong side. Regarding the heart, we don't have an official diagnosis, but it is very serious and the dr said that Baby Brother will have some serious challenges. We have an appointment at Children's tomorrow morning.
Although we are very sad, we know that God created Baby Brother exactly as he wanted him and for that we are thankful.
Please, please pray for a miracle.

oh, wow. I am praying for you. I'm sure I'll think of you several times a day and pray.
I have 2 verses for you- Jeremiah 32:17- "Sovereign LORD, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. NOTHING IS TOO HARD FOR YOU."
and I Cor. 2:5- Don't rest your faith on men's wisdom, but on God's power.
Nothing is too hard for Him and He is certainly powerful to fix anything He needs to, no matter what any dr says.
Laura and Hunter, I am so sorry to hear about your latest news on the new baby. I can only imagine how difficult this is for you. Childrens is a great hospital and they will take good care of you guys. You're right - God has created this little one EXACTLY as he planned! There couldn't be two more perfect parents for this little guy! God chose you to raise him and that's pretty special! I'll be praying for you guys. Let's try to get together soon. Love you!
