Catching Up!

Our summer has been super fun! Eli and Chase are growing, growing!! I can't believe that Eli is almost 3 1/2 and Chase is almost 1. Where does the time go??? Chase is crawling everywhere and standing on his own. He pushes anything with wheels all over the house. Still no teeth, but I think something must be going on....he is not sleeping well at all. When Eli was a baby, each time he had a hard time sleeping, he got a tooth. I hope that is what is going on with Chase. Chase eats like crazy during the night.....a couple of nights ago, he drank 32 ounces during the night....8 ounces every 2-3 hours. He must be growing too!

Eli is growing too and is so much fun. Despite using his "outside voice" a little too frequently, he is such a joy and I just love him to death!!! Even though he is almost 3 1/2, he still says some of the funniest things when trying to pronounce are a few of my favorites.....
  • Honey Bunches of Oats (cereal).....Honey H's Boats
  • Fruity Pebbles (cereal).....Fruity Puddles
  • Strawberry.....Strawbelly

And a few of my favorite phrases that Eli uses...

  • I don't know about that
  • Can I go potty in the bushes? (OK...not my fav, but he says this EVERY time he needs to go potty!)
Enjoying Fruity Puddles outside
Chase loves to play with the kitchen!
I think he looks so grown up in these pictures!

I don't know why, but I LOVE this picture

Madison is 2!

DMA, Pizza & Yogurt

We have been enjoying several summer "field trips" with a group of friends. It has been so much fun doing different activities around Dallas. Last week, we rode the uptown trolley to the Dallas Museum of Art. The DMA has FREE admission the first Tuesday of the month and has lots of fun activities for children. After the DMA, we ate pizza at Compania and yogurt at Yogilicious. Both were so good and places we'd never tried before. I LOVE finding new places to eat!! : )

Chase enjoyed the trolley! : )

DMA had fun activities for children of all ages...Chase LOVED it!

Eli and his tower of boxes

Enjoying some yogurt...Chase liked the yogurt too!

Eli's Self Portraits

Eli loves to take pictures and often leaves surprises for me on my camera. Recently, I found all of these unique self portraits. Silly Boy!!! : )
