9 Months!

This post is a couple of weeks late, but we just had our 9 month check-up today so now I have all the 9 month stats. I am happy to report that Chase is officially on the growth charts in weight for the first time!! Chase weighed in at 18 lbs 3 oz which puts him in the 25th percentile. Chase is 28 inches long which puts him in the 50th percentile. Developmentally, he is on track which is a small miracle. We were told that he would most likely be several months behind. He is crawling, pulling up and walking around things (although he is not very steady). He says "da-da" and signs "milk" and "all done". He also waves bye-bye. He turns his head when we call his name and always has the biggest smile on his face! Chase loves to eat....his favorite is sweet potatoes and his least fav is green peas (actually....I don't even try peas anymore...he REALLY doesn't like them!) We are going to start finger foods this week...should be interesting b/c I have already tried a few and he doesn't understand the chewing part. : ) Chase sleeps very well at night nestled right next to me or in between me and Eli. He wakes up once a night to eat, but sleeps until 8 or 9 each morning.

It is hard to believe that Chase is already 9 months...where has the time gone?!?! We are so thankful to God for him and his amazing progress. Love you, Baby Chase!!!!
