The day after Christmas, Eli and I went to Fairbanks, Alaska, to visit my sister, Lisa and her family (John (husband), Justin, John-John, Jessica, and Jack). After a long flight which included delays and one plane turning around after being in the air for an hour, we finally made it! We had a wonderful time. We got to see Eli's newest cousin Jack for the first time. He was born on December 11 and is growing like a weed! He's already outgrowing his 3 month clothes! We also got to see John-John play hockey several times. He has been playing hockey for several years and is really good. It is amazing to see him skate...he's great! Jessica turned 3 on December 5 and Eli really enjoyed playing with her. She was very sweet to him and loved to help give Eli a bath. Justin is 17 (I can't believe that!) and he is doing the typical teenager things....watching movies, playing PSP, watching ESPN and following the Cowboys, Mavericks, and Stars. It's always fun to be around Justin - you'll never have to wonder about a score on any game! :) While we were in Alaska, we got to experience a few "cold" days. I thought it was already cold because it was between 0 and -20, but on the "cold" days, it was between -30 and -45!!! I thought there was not much difference in -20 and -40, but I was WRONG!!! It was crazy cold!!!
We miss our family in Alaska, but are glad to be home with Hunter....after 2weeks away, Hunter almost didn't recognize Eli!
Below are some pictures from our trip.
