Easter Sunday...A Dress Rehearsal

Yesterday, I tried Eli's new Easter clothes on him to make sure they fit...I told him we were practicing for Easter. Well, Eli took it a little too far! You see, Eli cries EVERY Sunday in the church nursery. Hunter and I have not sat through an entire service together for many weeks because I get called out within 15 minutes of the service starting! So, just to make sure we were getting in a good practice, Eli cried and cried when I tried his Easter clothes on him. Maybe it's the clothes he doesn't like and not the church nursery! : ) I doubt it!!!

Sending Easter Packages

Eli and I prepared an Easter package to send to Eli's cousins in Alaska. Of course there was candy in the package....here is Eli trying a Blow Pop. Why is it that kids just know candy when they see it???? Eli has never had a Blow Pop or any kind of sucker (unless Granny is keeping secrets : )) but the second he saw the Blow Pop, it went right to his mouth....like he eats them all the time!

Eli has become a climber!! It took me about 20 minutes to address the package because Eli wanted to sit on the box.

Planting

Eli and I planted three tomato plants and some wildflowers. I thought Eli would enjoy watching the tomatos and flowers grow.....hopefully they will.....I'm usually not that great with plants! Eli enjoyed planting and watering the plants! (The paci is in his mouth to prevent him from eating the dirt!)

Happy Birthday Girls!

Today we went to Emily, Ashley, and Molly's first birthday party. We had so much fun and Eli was able to play with several of his friends. Happy Birthday! : )

Granny to the Rescue....Again!

Just as we were trying to figure out what shoes to wear with this outfit, Granny came over with a bag full of new clothes and these super cool shoes that matched Eli's outfit perfectly! Thanks, Granny...you came through for us AGAIN! : )

Eli found some floss and thought it was so funny to pull out all the string. He carried it around yesterday for a long time and even wanted to take it to Target this morning! : )

Lunch with Friends

We had lunch yesterday with Sonia, Megan, and Peyton. Eli enjoyed lunch and even let Sonia hold him for a while!
