Chase is Missing!!

While cleaning our house for a showing, I discovered that Chase was missing. I looked everywhere for him and became quite worried. I found him sound asleep on the bed.

Reed's Birth Day

Despite my best efforts to avoid it, Reed was born via c-section on the afternoon of June 14, 2010. I walked 4 miles that morning as a last ditch effort, but still ended up in the OR. My c-section was originally planned for June 1, but after convincing my doctor to let me try to have a VBAC we cancelled the plans. Although I still ended up with a c-section, I am very thankful for the extra 13 days that Reed was inside of me. More cooking time!!! : )

Our New Home

We are in the process of building a new home. It has been really fun to watch our house being built. Since we are building a couple of miles from our current home, we can watch the process fairly closely and easily. The brick and stone are almost complete. The sheet rock is up and the cabinets and floors will be going in next week. : )

Pneumonia.....AGAIN!

Chase was in the hospital again with pneumonia. This is his third case of pneumonia since February so the doctors are trying to determine if there is some underlying issue causing the pneumonia. They are most concerned with aspiration, so we will be doing a video swallow study in a couple of weeks to see if Chase is aspirating when he drinks milk and water. Chase's cardiologist is fairly certain that the pneumonia is not connected in any way to his heart function. We are very thankful that Chase was only in the hospital for a couple of days and doing much better now!

Eli LOVES visiting the hospital because they have a refridgerator stocked with chocolate milk....Eli's FAVORITE!!! : )
