Big Boy Cereal

Eli has started eating an actual bowl of Cheerios in the morning. Before, he was eating dry Cheerios, a banana and drinking a glass of milk. Now, it's all in the bowl. He is doing very well with the spoon. It is so fun to watch him eat! : )

Pump It Up Jr.

On Thursday, we met our friends Kellie and Collin at Pump It Up Jr. to play. Pump It Up Jr. is is in Plano and is a great place for kids to play on huge, inflatable slides and play areas. Eli had so much fun!! They have play time for kids 3 and under on Thursdays from 9:30 - 11:00 and it is only $5 and moms and dads are free. I didn't get too many pictures because we were playing, but here is one.

Busy Day!

We had a busy, but very fun day today! We had playgroup this morning and then Eli took a 2 1/2 hour nap (a GREAT benefit of playgroup). Then we went swimming, ate supper and then played outside. Playing outside has become Eli's favorite after supper activity!!

Eli loves to play with the sprinkler. This evening he was getting everyone involved!

Flossing

Eli loves to floss his teeth. He only has six teeth, but you would think that he has a mouthful when he is flossing.

And when he is done, he walks around with the floss hanging out of his mouth. : )

Big Fish

Cousin John-John and his Dad went fishing in the Copper River near Chitina, Alaska last week. They caught 17 salmon. Here is John-John holding a king salmon....about 30 pounds!

Saying No

Eli has learned to shake his head to say "no".

Last night, Hunter made a tee ball stand for Eli and taught him how to hit the ball...he did pretty good for his first time!

New Toy??

Eli was not a fan of the exersaucer when he was a baby, but as soon as we got it out for Cousin Jack to play in, he wanted in it. At least once a day, Eli asks to get in and play. It lasts for about 3 minutes....about as long as he would stay in it when he was about 7 months old! : )

Afternoon at the Pool

This afternoon, we went swimming at our neighborhood pool. We had a great time and enjoyed the sunny weather.

Eli in his new life jacket and hat. I thought Eli would hate the life jacket, but he did not complain about it at all...Hunter and I were very surprised!

Our Morning Run

Every morning (except Sundays), Eli and I start our day with a morning run around the neighborhood. I really enjoy running and Eli enjoys riding and looking for bunnies.

We head out just after Eli wakes up in the morning. For the first half of the run, he has his paci and blanket close by. About half way through the run, he hands me his paci and blanket.

They're Here!!!

We are so excited because my sister and three of her kids are here to visit for a couple of weeks. They live in Alaska so we don't get to see them as often as we'd like.

Visit with Karla

Our good friend, Karla, came over for dinner on Saturday evening. Eli always enjoys playing and showing all his toys to our guests! : )
